Thank you to all our customers for all of the support over the past few years. I closed the farm stand early this year and am planning on taking a bit of a break – tentatively planning on get back into production with fall/winter greens in 2025.
I (Josie) started planning the farm while I was pregnant with our 3rd child in 2019 – raising the kids and the farm all together has been full on ever since. It is time for a break from the farm and get caught up on all the projects, so that when I am ready to come back to farming, I can work as efficiently and effectively as possible. In the meantime, I will be building healthy soil in the garden beds, learning more about making my own garden amendments and developing farm infrastructure.
Since my goal with the nursery part of the business was to help people grow their own gardens, I will be sharing my 2025 garden journey over on my blog at beettheratrace.com, starting with garden planning in January!
Our Farmstand is open seasonally form April through October. We also coordinate with local farmers to have products available at the local Farmer’s Market and list items for sale on the local online Farmer’s Market, the Western Maine Market.

Farm production is focused on providing our community with Produce, Plants and Eggs. We grow using regenerative and natural farming methods.
We feel passionately about being self-sufficient and want to help others do the same by growing healthy seedlings and plants for successful home gardens.
